Pacific Jazz in Japan

Japanese Reissues

Pacific Jazz had been acquired by Liberty Records in 1965, who in turn had been acquired by Transamerica in 1968, who merged it under United Artists, whose Japanese partner was King Records. King pressed Pacific Jazz in Japan until the label’s next owner EMI moved all their Japanese  pressing to their subsiduary Toshiba-EMI, in 1983.
